Un litblog es un weblog enfocado principalmente a la literatura. En la blogósfera, existe una comunidad de autores quienes cubren una variedad de temas sobre la literatura. En la blogosfera, existe una comunidad de autores quienes cubren una variedad de temas sobre la literatura, que se pueden llamar litblogistas (del ingéls litbloggers). Los litblogistas escriben sobre la industria editorial, sobre la escritura, la poesía, sobre los diarios de viajes, elaboran críticas y reseñas de libros de diversos géneros literarios.
